MHR Fund for the Horses!

During this COVID-19 crisis, we have had to cancel all classes because our medically fragile riders need the assistance of community volunteers - which cannot conform to social distancing.   Even though we don't have the class fees coming in, we still have to feed and care for our program horses - and our funds are getting low.  Donations during this time will go towards the feed, veterinarian, and farrier bills, as well as staff that are coming out to care for our horses.

Majestic Hills Ranch (MHR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that provides reputable, safe, and enjoyable therapeutic riding to children and adults with special needs and to injured military personnel, active duty & veterans in rehabilitation.  

Therapeutic horseback riding and adaptive horseback riding lessons grants individuals the ability to participate in an activity that anyone can do.  They gain strength from riding the horse’s rhythmical walk and gain balance when staying on while it is bending and turning.  They gain self confidence when learning how to control the movement of this large animal and fine motor skill when steering and playing games with the other riders.  They bond with their horse, make friends with the community volunteers that help with the program, and generally enjoy the great outdoors at the ranch.
