Majestic Hills Ranch Foundation

Majestic Hills Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers Equine-Assisted Services (mainly adaptive riding lessons) to Children & Adults with Special Needs and Injured Military Personnel Active Duty & Veterans in Rehabilitation.  

MHR is a place where young riders touch a horse's nose for the first time.  Where they get to walk right up to a "big" horse and get on to ride - showing the world they are brave and adventurous. They leave behind everyday troubles and enjoy riding on a horse in a non-judgmental environment where community volunteers help make each ride safe and enjoyable.

MHR also is a place where military veterans can come out to enjoy the company of horses - helping to groom, learning horseback riding skills, possibly going out on trail rides, and relaxing afterward.  They get a chance to visit with others, relax in an accepting environment, and work closely with community volunteers.

Our program began in 1997 with a handful of children, and we now typically serve over 75 clients per season.  As we finish our 26th year of service, we hope to expand the number of program horses and the activities we offer in the coming year (2024).  

We are located on our beautiful 106-acre ranch where the horses have plenty of room to run, barn cats roam about looking for love, and city folks can see how hay gets made (and stacked!)
