Give to the Max for TCHS!

Give to the Max is Minnesota's biggest giving holiday for nonprofits - and it's a wonderful day to show your support for Tri-County Humane Society!

Every year, TCHS takes in about 5,000 animals. Each has a different story, but all will need care from our shelter before they start their next chapter. That includes but isn't limited to vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and external examinations. It takes a lot of resources, including supplies and staff time, to give these animals another chance. This is where you come in!

We're celebrating our 50th anniversary this year. We're proud to have spent the past five decades serving the pets and people of Central Minnesota. We can't wait to do this for the next 50 years and beyond - but we can't do it alone. 

With your generous donation to TCHS for Give to the Max, you'll be making the future brighter for many animals. 

We have an ambitious goal this year: We want to raise $50,000 in honor of our 50th year helping animals. That's right - that would be a record-breaking amount for TCHS on Give to the Max Day. 

It's a big number - but Tri-County Humane Society didn't get to where we are by thinking small!  

If we thought small, we wouldn't:

• Have an average length of stay for any animal of only eight days - that's a fast turnaround! 
• Have a mandatory spay/neuter program for all our cats/kittens/dogs/puppies in place for more than a decade. 
• Have provided (for free or at a reduced cost) almost 700 microchips at public clinics over the past two years.
• Have implemented improved housing for cats, including double cages with portals and cat colony rooms for more comfort. 
• Be treating animal medical ailments in-house (such as heartworm) that would not have been even imaginable a decade ago. 

We've had a great 50 years doing what we do - and it's been a privilege to do this work. And it's because of supporters like you that we can do this work so well. What will the future bring? We love dreaming about how we can do better for the animals! Your donations make these dreams a reality.
