Praxis Gallery & Photographic Arts Center (PPAC) is on an exciting journey to become Minnesota’s only non-profit photo arts center, and we need your help to make it happen! Our mission has always been to bring diverse perspectives into focus through lens-based art, providing creative opportunities that engage, challenge, and inspire. By transforming into a 501(c)(3), we will expand our ability to reach more people from all backgrounds, offering affordable access to education, exhibitions, and resources in the photographic arts.

Since 2017, we have been dedicated to connecting artists and audiences through various programs and activities:

• Hosting solo and group exhibitions featuring over 100 artists monthly.
• Providing free artist lectures, a darkroom, a photo book library, and The Project Lab – a space for community-based projects and workshops.
• Engaging with the community through partnerships, such as co-hosting the Greenway Glow and fundraising events to support local causes.

We are now looking to raise $2,850 to cover all the compliance fees required to secure our non-profit status. This will enable us to offer more free events, workshops, and scholarships, making lens-based arts accessible to everyone. We aim to gather support from 30 individuals willing to donate $100 each, as well as additional contributions to meet our total goal. Your contribution will ensure that future generations can benefit from our resources, programs, and opportunities.
