Neighbors Day

Neighbors Day is an annual one-day event that serves older adults and other individuals who need assistance with spring yard work. Volunteers work in teams to rake lawns, clean up gardens, and wash windows. Each year the Neighbors Day Committee has coordinated approximately 200 volunteers from the community to make this day a reality.   Volunteer teams include families, businesses, service organizations, and church and school groups.   Through their tremendous support, community teams have served hundreds of households since the event started in 2006.

If you would like to participate by donating to Neighbors Day, your gift will be used to buy leaf bags, window washing supplies, and to get the word out about Neighbors Day to those who might need assistance.
