The Crow River Trail Guards is a non-profit youth organization in Paynesville, Mn. Our mission promotes environmental and personal awareness through outdoor challenge, educational, and environmental service opportunities for the areas youth and to ensure the Crow River Nature Park and Trail is conserved for the environmental and recreational benefit of the Paynesville community.
We rely on contributions by our community and generous donations to maintain and improve facilities, programs and the 12 acre nature park, which serves all ages.
We are reaching out to you in hopes of raising funds for a very important addition to our park. A portable AED, (Automated External Defibrillator), ensures the safety of our youth members, adults and families that use the park and its trails. An AED is used to help an individual experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, which can happen not only to adults, but to young people, as well! According to the CDC and the American Heart Association, sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in the USA and takes up to 450,000 lives a year. Knowing that there is access to an AED in our nature park, to provide lifesaving measures or help in a critical moment, is a priority for the CRTG’s.
Please consider making a donation and coming together with the Crow River Trail Guards to raises the funds needed for AED’s and to make safety a priority in our nature park. We appreciate your support and thank you for your generosity.
