Two words that sum up Frank Theatre--Fearless and fiesty.  For the last 35 years, Wendy Knox and Company have staged risk-taking productions that are anything but safe.  Unafraid to take on timely and controversial topics, this local theater gem challenges its audiences to think critically, with first-rate performances and productions.  

Frank productions are like a good sourdough, providing audience members discussion points to chew on and ponder.  Wendy Knox has an excellent track record at selecting plays that function as mirrors, reflecting back to us our good points and our bad as we move through life and its challenges.  Recent Frank topics have dealt with fascism, immigration, abortion, and colonization.

Theater, as an institution, has taken a major hit in recent years, both through societal trends and the pandemic.  Small Twin City theater companies, as well as large, continue to struggle to survive.
