Help Cure Alzheimer's Disease !

The Curing Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation came about when Dr. Dave Crandall DDS contracted Alzheimer’s Disease.  But different from everyone else who gets this disease, Dave began experimenting on himself with different drugs his doctors agreed to prescribe. And the most miraculous thing happened – the drugs Dave took allowed him to repeatedly reverse the symptoms of his Alzheimer’s Dementia.  More miraculous than that, when Dave did die (which took longer than anyone expected), though his autopsy showed the severest possible case of Alzheimer’s possible, his brain was relatively normal. Meaning the disease didn’t destroy his brain!  The University of Minnesota doctors were so shocked they decided to dedicate a research lab to study the drugs Dave took. But first, the University needed the money to run the lab.  Which is where this story becomes very heart-warming. When the head of this new lab admitted the process of obtaining Government Grant funding would take years, Dave’s eldest daughter Anna made the decision to quit her job in order to create a non-profit public charity called The Curing Alzheimer's Disease Foundation that could raise the needed funding for the University’s lab NOW.  

It’s been over a year since Anna founded The Curing Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation.  And in that time, she’s built a very informative website that safely and securely accepts tax-deductible contributions that will be used to run the Alzheimer’s Legacy Lab at the University of Minnesota.  Her short-term goal is to raise the $200,000 needed to start the research lab.  Though she’s well on her way, still more is needed.
