2025 will mark the 20th anniversary of Fortune’s Fool Theatre, led by producing artistic directors Daniel Pinkerton and Ariel Pinkerton. For 19 years, we have been dedicated to exposing Twin Cities audiences to unfamiliar theatrical works, with an emphasis on Minnesota writers. With imagination and verve, we stage world premieres and plays that are rarely performed in the Twin Cities, in intimate, adventurous, and affordable productions.

In 2023, we are produced yet another brand new play: the *WORLD PREMIERE* of COLD PLANET WARM HEART, a new musical by Daniel Pinkerton and Robert Elhai, authors of our 2017 production THE LADY WITH A LAP DOG. In this fictitious historical pageant, the residents of a rural Minnesota town perform the story of an event that changed the lives of everyone in town: the crash landing of a visitor from the stars in their town! Featuring six performers and a rock band, this show ran from November 4-19, received glowing reviews, and moved and delighted audiences.

In 2024, we produced the world premiere of Chicago resident Mike McGeever's audacious, searing drama about history and historians, LINCOLN'S CHILDREN. It ran from September 6-22, and eight of our 10 performances *sold out* to wild, appreciative audiences, many of whom were first time attendees of a Fortune's Fool production.

We are now beginning to plan something unique to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We can't yet say what it is, but we promise it will have all of the adventure you've come to expect from Fortune's Fool, and it will be another WORLD PREMIERE.
