Project Down & Dirty is myTalk 107.1’s annual award-winning reality-show-on-the-radio!
This year it will be a culmination and celebration of what has always been at the center of our biggest and best event each year—heart.
Follow along as your favorite radio hosts move into the Ronald McDonald House and are tasked with the jobs of volunteers and staff at the house. As usual, we'll still have the shows competing with each other to raise funds for four different amazing charities.
Donna & Steve have partnered with Cookie Cart!
Cookie Cart teaches life, leadership, and employment skills to young adults of color through on-the-job and classroom experiences in a nonprofit bakery. We work with young adults from the most marginalized communities in our region, North Minneapolis and the East Side of Saint Paul, to create opportunities for exposure to college and career pathways. Cookie Cart’s program creates opportunities for young adults to engage in experiential learning to develop the 21st-century skills that guide them toward success beyond high school.
Thanks to our matching donation sponsor Hoffman Weber Construction for doubling our first $2,000 raised!
A fun way to donate would be to stop by the myTalk Lemonade Stand on Thursday, October 23rd from noon to 4pm. We will be in the turnaround of the Ronald McDonald House located at 621 SE Oak Street in Minneapolis! Donations accepted for lemonade and cookies to support each charity.
2:00 - 3:00 PM: Donna, Steve and Rocco will be selling for Cookie Cart
