Did you know there is an average of 50 teens on the wait list to work at Cookie Cart??
Lah says her favorite thing about working at Cookie Cart is her amazing coworkers and how much fun they all have together during a shift. Cookie Cart has taught Lah valuable organizational skills and how to be a part of a team.
Lah’s advice to her peers is to “not be afraid to speak up and ask for help if you need it, everyone at Cookie Cart is really welcoming and nice and here for you.”
Cookie Cart is devoted to creating a healthy, nurturing, and safe space for young adults to grow. Through our learning models young people gain employment and career knowledge which is applied in their first-time job within our bakeries. Every day is enriched with the mentorship of our caring staff who foster experiential learning engagements to create habits of success young adults will carry with them for a lifetime. Every day we bake bright futures at Cookie Cart with life and employment lessons, collective joy, lifelong friendships—plus a dash of fun!
To continue this amazing workforce impact, we are asking for your extended support. Cookie Cart serves over 200 youth each year, with each young person costing $7,000 to support. This holiday season, we invite you to join us in providing these transformative experiences for youth in the Twin Cities.
You are the essential ingredient in our mission at Cookie Cart!
Together, we can create the perfect blend of young leaders who will shape thriving communities of tomorrow. Thank you for being a vital part of our recipe! Join us in supporting Cookie Cart youth TODAY!
