People's Food Co-op of Ann Arbor

People's Food Co-op of Ann Arbor has been a beacon of local ownership, cooperative principles, and commitment to sustainable foods and household products for over fifty years. This working capital campaign lays the foundation for the Co-op to serve its community for the next fifty years. The funds will allow the Co-op to make improvements to its produce section, unlock matching grant funds, and support the development of its next generation of co-op leadership as they move the Co-op forward.

Several times members have asked how they can support the Co-op more deeply, especially given the tight financial times the Co-op has weathered. The Cooperative Development Fund of CDS is founded to meet this need for cooperatives and is serving as the Co-op's fiscal sponsor to accept contributions for its benefit.  Please join us with your tax-deductible contribution.

As its fiscal sponsor, the Cooperative Development Fund of CDS will use your gift to benefit People's Food Co-op in a manner consistent with the Fund's charitable purpose to support the wise use and development of cooperatively owned businesses.
