ABOUT THE COMPANY

Marggie here! 🙋🏻‍♀️

This year, I started Margaret Ogas Performance Project, a project-based dance company producing live performances rooted in movement, with an emphasis on artistic experimentation and a commitment to highlighting artists of color and queer artists.

I started this company because I am passionate about artist-led work and believe the most impactful performances are made in collaboration.

In January 2024, we presented our first little show, MOONQUAKES, at the Modus Locus Expansion. I'm proud to share that our audience size exceeded expectations (even in MN winter! ❄️).

SUPPORT OUR WORK

I am so grateful that our first two projects have been supported by grants, but the reality is, grants and ticket sales typically only cover a portion of costs for a creative project. We are asking you to help us fill the gap!

My collaborators and I couldn’t do this work without the generous support of individuals. Over 70% of the total project budget for our December show is allocated to artist compensation. That means your donation will go directly to the dancers, composers, designers, and other talented folks who make this work possible.
