🌱 A Season of Change: Sustaining Frogtown Farm

In the heart of our beloved Frogtown neighborhood lies a green oasis that has, for a decade, been more than just a farm. Frogtown Farm was born from a community's vision in 2013, aiming to be a beacon of urban agricultural sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social enrichment. It has since grown into a vital community hub, fostering connections, promoting social equity, and nurturing ecological integrity.

Over the years, Frogtown Farm has become deeply intertwined with the fabric of our neighborhood. It stands as a cultural landmark, preserving the rich tapestry of our community's heritage while celebrating our diversity and local traditions. Through food distribution initiatives—donating over 7,025 pounds of food in 2023 alone—educational programs, cultural demonstration gardens, and community events, Frogtown Farm has brought together residents from all walks of life.

However, Frogtown Farm is now facing a critical juncture. The challenges of discontinuity in leadership, external disruptions, and the profound impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have put our operations and mission at risk. We're in a season of transition, where the need for community support has never been more urgent.
