About Frogtown Farm

Frogtown Farm is a vibrant, community-led urban farm in the heart of St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood, located within 13 acres of beautiful green space. Founded in 2013 through a grassroots effort and supported by the Trust for Public Land, the City of St. Paul, and the Wilder Foundation, Frogtown Farm has become a vital community hub promoting food justice, environmental sustainability, and cultural celebration.

Our mission is to bring together Frogtown’s diverse, intergenerational, and cross-cultural community, fostering empowerment, sustainability, and community pride. We’re dedicated to meeting the needs of our community through fresh, culturally relevant produce, accessible education, and holistic health programming.

This year, with your support, we’ve:

Grown and distributed over 8,000 pounds of fresh produce for low-income families and community members through local food banks and community partners.   Engaged with the community through events like our Flavors of Frogtown series, where residents learned food preparation and preservation skills and enjoyed community meals using locally grown produce,Hosted community engagement sessions to hear directly from residents, ensuring that we grow the crops they value most and offer programs that reflect their needs and voices.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Frogtown Farm stands as a symbol of social equity, justice, and interconnectedness, where community input directly shapes our work. Following our recent Request for Proposals (RFP) in April, we are excited to continue expanding Frogtown Farm’s impact through new initiatives that enhance food security, sustainability, and resilience.

We owe our success to the incredible support we receive from donors like you. Your contributions and ongoing support are the driving force behind turning our vision into a reality. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your commitment to our mission.

Your support fuels this journey. Every donation brings us closer to a future where all Frogtown residents have access to healthy food, sustainable resources, and a connected, empowered community.
