The Red Wing Family YMCA is a non-profit charity with an important cause, Strengthening Our Community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and the community through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body. Your gift to this page supports the Annual Support Campaign. The Red Wing Family YMCA provides financial assistance to families and individuals in need to receive open access to the Y. 

Youth Development

Kids create memories, learn skills and build confidence as they explore new interests and passions at the Y. Through programs like Camp Pepin, Youth in Government, Sunshine Corner Preschool, and Peach Tree Child Care, it allows the YMCA to serve kids and teens through programs focused on education, sports, arts, leadership and family fun. 

Healthy Living

Get fit and stay healthy with YMCA classes, equipment and programs that welcome all ages and fitness levels. Our YMCA features a 10,000 square-foot Wellness Center that includes a PlaYground with TRX, squat racks, boxing bags and other functional fitness accessories, free weights, and lots of exercise machines. This past year, classes were broadcast on Facebook and by Zoom. This allowed members not yet ready to return to The Y to remain fit and connected at home. 

Social Responsibility

The Y is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life working side by side to strengthen our community. Together we work to ensure everyone, regardless of gender, income, faith, sexual orientation or cultural background, has the opportunity to live life to its fullest.

One of the most important aspects of building a global community is giving young people and adults opportunities to understand and celebrate diversity, and feel included.
