Oraculi

Oraculi is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to foster the next generation of scientists, engineers, and thinkers. We are in our 4th year of partnering with the Rochester Public Schools (RPS) to provide STEM Fair mentorships at the middle school and high school levels.

Our mentors meet with RPS middle schoolers through a weekly afterschool program to guide students through the scientific inquiry process, often for the first time.

Despite operating under pandemic conditions at our inception, we successfully mentored 13 middle schoolers that year. Every mentee won an award at the regional science fair and over half progressed to State.

Since then, we have expanded the program to include in-person mentorships at the middle school level and virtual mentorships at the high school level. We also partner with the Rochester Boys & Girls Club to provide mentorship at the grade 3-6 level for the GATEway Science Fair.

We aim to raise $10,000 by the end of the year to cover student registration fees, project expenses, and community outreach efforts for the next 1-2 years.
