Lex-Ham Community Arts

Lex-Ham Community Arts has been building community through the participation of many individuals and organizations in high-quality theater and music focused on traditional classics, undiscovered treasures and locally-created work since 1992.

Lex-Ham Community Arts has two main thrusts: theater and music .

The theatrical programming includes:

1. Informal play readings;
2. Improv sessions;
3. Acting classes offered jointly with Saint Paul Community Education; and
4. Fully staged productions

The music programming includes mostly the Lex-Ham Community Band - a volunteer-based ensemble that plays a mix of marches, show tunes, arrangements of Big Band classics, and other pieces for the classic concert band repertoire.  The band hosts the annual BandWidth Music Festival which showcases some of the top community bands from around Minnesota for an afternoon of free family-friendly entertainment at the Landmark Center in downtown Saint Paul.
