ABOUT KIPP MN
KIPP Minnesota Public Schools launched in 2008 and is a K-8 charter school which provides free education to 250 students at its North Minneapolis campus KIPP North Star. With a team of over 50 educators, leaders, support staff, and administrators that is over 86% BIPOC, our team reflects and understands the culture and needs of our student body and community. Our school also has a dedicated Special Education team who provide individualized services for over 30 students.
As part of the national KIPP Foundation, which is the largest network of charter schools in the country, KIPP Minnesota is connected to a strong network of 275 public schools across the nation, as well as receives support and training.
Together with families and communities, we create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world.
