Over nearly five years, working as the Director of Development at Avenues for Youth, I'd had the privilege of seeing the impact of our work first hand. What I love the most about our organization is our journey-oriented, trauma-informed, and youth-centered approach. Young people truly are the drivers of their own experience while they are with us. That agency is critical for young people in reaching and maintaining long term housing stability. I've love to talk with you about Avenues. Each night in Minnesota, over 4,000 youth experience homelessness. 

For over 30 years Avenues for Youth has been partnering with youth experiencing homelessness. Whether youth need a place to stay for one night or a year and a half, Avenues is here for youth in this part of their journey.

At Avenues, youth are the drivers of their journeys, and their experiences guide the programs. Avenues operates multiple programs to meet young people's unique needs and goals. Youth have options and can choose whichever path is the best fit for their future.
