The goal for Give to the Max day is to raise $2,000 to supplement donations given for our annual fund drive.
Our goal for the 2021 fund drive is to raise $11,000 for new shelving in the storage room. After moving everything around, we have found ourselves very limited on storage space (we were getting short before but now are really packed in tight). Your donation will help us build towards the museum's future growth and support the preservation and collection of artifacts.
What is museum-worthy? Yesterday is history. We must remember that it is not just the items we think is old now. What will your grandkids and great-grandkids think is "old" stuff 50, 75, 100 years from now? These are the items and memories that we need to start collecting and preserving for future generations. But with that, we need to find the room to store it all, and we can do that through new shelving/storage solutions.
