Persona Doll Sam!

Amazeworks Persona Dolls are one of the tools we use at Sunshine to build young childrens' empathy, knowledge and understanding of the various people that make up our communities. We use them as one of our tools to create discussions with students about various differences in people and families, from disabilities and religion to family structure and housing. We can engage in open conversation, through the dolls, and answer question from children that are key to building compassion as well as gain a global perspective.

"Persona Dolls come into the classroom as friends. Teachers carefully build relationships with the dolls by mirroring details of the children’s own lives. The dolls engage children by telling stories about their lives and asking children for advice."

This year we want to add Sam to be the third doll in our community, but if we beat our goal we can surprise the children with TWO new friends!!!
