Sitting for Clarity in Chaotic Times

This year I will meditate for 10 hours during the sit-a-thon to raise funds for Clouds in Water Zen Center. Pictured is the Rakusu (mini-Buddha's robe) I sewed by hand. It's a symbol of the precepts I've have received during lay ordination. I am grateful for so many teachings and opportunities for personal growth that I have received since attending Clouds in Water.  Not to mention all the wonderful people that I have come to know on this journey.  Clouds in Water is solely supported by donations and this our last fund-raiser of the year.  A very generous member has offered to match up to $50,000 to put towards the mortgage of the building that is our spiritual home. I am excited to be a part of this wonderful opportunity.
