St. Anthony Park Annual Luminary Walk at Langford Park
Friday-Sunday, February 14-16, 2025 at dusk each evening
Please join us to celebrate our community and practice bringing light into darkness with beautiful lights & wishes for a peaceful world.
Events
Friday Night Lover’s Lane, February 14th
The pathway will be light around dusk providing the perfect Valentine’s Day stroll under the nearly full moon.
Saturday Evening Lantern Procession & Skating, February 15th
6:30PM - Lantern Procession From Library To Langford
8:00PM – Family Skate at Langford Park Rink
Gather with lanterns at the St. Anthony Park Branch Library at 6:30PM for a poetry reading and procession to Langford Park where the luminary path and art installations will be lit.
At 8PM, the rink will be open for skating with music and dreamy lighting. Cocoa and s’mores will be available for purchase at the recreation center. Bathrooms will be open.

Stroll the luminary path at Langford at your own pace
Lantern Making
Make A Lantern, February 8th from 2-4PM
Please join us on the Saturday afternoon before the festival at the library to make lanterns for our procession! All ages are welcome and materials will be provided.
Pitching-in & Donating
This event is all about community! We have several ways for supporters of the library and neighbors to work together to create this magical event:
- Volunteer to help set up and clean up
- Chip in on the cost of materials via our Amazon wishlist
- Make your own ice bowls andbring them to Langford Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Instructions to come.
- Donate directly to SAPBLA on this page to support our local library.
