Support Independent Community Radio - KPPP-LP 88.1 FM Radio - Fargo-Moorhead

Critical Race Theory Radio

The nonprofit - The People's Press Project created a community led radio station by obtaining a FCC License through the last Low Powered FM radio station license approvals. Our 5 year old community radio station - KPPP-LP 88.1 Fargo-Moorhead Radio is addressing the deprivation of CRT knowledge by developing and airing 1 hour weekly interactive radio shows defining CRT, history of Racism, Anti-Racism content and interactive work shops on the local airwaves and on Social Media platforms.

This program will produce a much needed analysis for thousands of people in the community without cost, without access to Internet bandwidth and bring these teachings and information into the homes of families that are being deprived these societal facts.

Our goal is to create CRT resources on air and online for viewers with a focus on People of Color.

KPPP-LP 88.1 Fargo-Moorhead will also do Live Stream content for community members interested in weekly sessions of dialogue, resources and information. Our project will also develop interactive stream sessions for vetted community members who want to learn about CRT for themselves, children and family. We will highlight CRT Radio on the air as well as our successful YouTube streams, Facebook streams, Twitter and other on line platforms

Our radio station has been on the air for over five years and has the potential to reach over 200,000 people in the Fargo, North Dakota, Moorhead, MN and surrounding areas in the Red River Valley. Our station was developed to reach marginalized communities and to give them a voice in Media, which they have not had before.

Our mission is to give voice to stories of the most marginalized in society. To do that we have been fighting the echo chamber of mainstream ‘independent’ journalists; many of whom are white and male who are fighting campaigns against the liberation of PoC. We constantly battle white and male led media campaigns that tend to exploit PoC, women, LGBTQA, and disabled people.
