The past two years have been challenging for everyone, yet the Shoreview Community Foundation has remained a strong and active partner in the community thanks to our supporters.  For over 12 years the Foundation has made it possible for public-spirited citizens, with varied interests and capacities for giving, to participate in philanthropic activities for the benefit of our community.  People and organizations that make a real difference in the lives of our citizens have benefited from grants provided by the Foundation.  Your contribution today means we can continue to support our shared goals of improving lives and making a difference in this great community.*

In addition to addressing immediate and emergent needs related to COVID-19, the Foundation continues to support: arts & cultural organizations; parks, trails and recreation; human service organizations; historical preservation; community enhancement and leadership development.

The Shoreview Community Foundation’s mission is to maintain, enhance and enrich the quality of life in Shoreview by connecting the generosity of our residents with the community’s evolving needs.

We are focused on making Shoreview a more just, prosperous, enjoyable, healthy, and attractive place to live.

The Shoreview Community Foundation (SCF) was established in 2008 by community leaders who understood that the solutions to some community needs were more suited to citizen initiative than to governmental action. Owing to this insight, for the past twelve years the SCF has awarded financial support to trusted non-profit grantees, who, in turn, have provided valuable, targeted services in the Shoreview area.

Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible gifts and create a permanent general endowment fund from which grants may be awarded to non-profit groups operating in Shoreview.
