S E T the C O U R S E

The “SET the COURSE” fundraising campaign encompasses two specific areas at the Ranch.  The first being the building of an obstacle park for horses and humans, and secondly, a physical  building that will serve as a fellowship gathering space for hosting ranch related activities.  These two infrastructure pieces naturally streamline into our program platform while empowering program expansion to meet unmet outreach needs in the community. 

THE INVITATION

It is true.  We are living in changing and uncertain days and none of us knows what the next moment holds, and yet in the midst of a growing list of things we cannot control, we do have the opportunity choose our response.  We have free will, which is extraordinary when you think of the reality that no one can tell you what to believe or how to respond.  We have free will to fully choose our response to every moment of every day in every circumstance.  How will you choose?

As for the ranch, we will continue to choose to pursue the heart of the Lord. The leadership team will continue to pursue to align our priorities with the priorities of heaven.  We will continue to use our lives and every square inch of the ranch platform to encourage, empower and equip people to accept the invitation that is available to them through the saving grace of Jesus.  We will encourage people not to take my word for it, but to take a walk and sit at HIS table and test it for themselves.  To take all that you have and know, and throw it into the Refiner's fire and allow it to reveal to you truth, so that you can walk out the fullness of what was intended for you upon your creation. 

 As this relates to Hope Rides and our mission for Kingdom work, we will press on.  We believe more now than ever it is important to stand and continue to boldly pursue God's leading and the vision HE has cast before us. HE is still on the throne.

THE LORD'S PROMPTING

In November of 2019, the Lord laid on my heart that it was time to prepare for the horse park and fellowship gathering space to be built.  That prompting was followed by this:  “I will provide for the materials, the building will be built by my laborers who labor in love.”  I shared with my husband what I had heard, and together, in faith, sat down and began to simply compile a vision for the space as the Lord revealed.  Once that task was done we left it at HIS feet.  It was within a few months while tending to some other Godly business that we completely and unexpectedly received a single donation that has now positioned the ranch for the next step in this process. What does this mean? It means that HE has made good on part one of HIS word by providing the first round of provision needed to construct the physical shell of the building, and so with that we step forward in obedience and release it by faith.  

 When I received the second part of that word, regarding the building being built by the hands of HIS laborers -  that they would labor in love, I was overwhelmed by the revelation of Gods heart and the intimacy of the extension of this invitation to those who receive it.  It is with complete joy and anticipation that clears the way for God to be on full display at the ranch and for the opportunity to extend the invitation to you to be part of HIS miracle and way-maker team.

WAYS YOU CAN BE INVOLVED

1.   T r a i l   B l a z e r s

All financial contributions from Trail Blazers will be allocated to fund the interior finishes and functional spaces within the fellowship barn, or build an obstacle within the park. No amount is insignificant, EVERY amount is significant.  We trust that your contributions will be a story of the Loaves and Fishes, and that these love contributions will multiply in HIS hands and make a way for the completion of the project.

2.   G r o u n d   B r e a k e r s

Time and Talent Contributions.  The Ground Breaker contributions are non-cash contributions.  These are services, products and labor that are donated in efforts to support the construct, landscape and interior function and finishes to the building being fully operational.  Individuals with skills and knowledge in areas including Excavating, Demolition, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry - both frame work and finish work, Landscape Design, Heating/Cooling and Concrete.  Naturally, contributions from skilled craftsman will help keep the costs of the project down. In such, we are prayerfully seeking those skilled craftsman that would like to contribute to the this project as a “Skilled Laborer –Laboring in Love”.
