At St. Croix Montessori, we believe that great teachers create great schools. We are committed to providing children with a Montessori education that fosters independence and encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect for others.  In doing so, we recognize that the work of our passionate and skilled educational team is at the heart of all that we do.

This year, for our Give to the Max campaign, we’re focusing on an area that directly enhances the experience for every student: Teacher Development and Retention. When you donate, you invest in our teachers, ensuring they receive the training, resources, and recognition they deserve. Your support goes directly toward the following:

• Montessori Workshops and Trainings: Our teachers are dedicated to the Montessori method, a hands-on, child-centered approach that requires specialized skills. Your donation will help fund workshops and courses that provide teachers with new techniques, Montessori principles, and research-based practices, empowering them to bring out the best in each child.
• Professional Development Opportunities: We are committed to lifelong learning for our teachers. Professional development fuels their passion and creativity, keeping them inspired and effective. This includes advanced Montessori courses, conferences, and mentorship programs that foster a vibrant learning environment for teachers and students.
• Supporting Teacher Retention with Great Start Bonuses: Every teacher matters. That is why our school is committed to matching the Great Start Bonuses (given to our Toddler and Children’s House staff) for our elementary teachers and assistants who do not qualify otherwise. This financial support recognizes their dedication and encourages them to continue making a difference in our children’s lives.
