Camp Companion Animal Rescue has been in service for 20 years!  Our program services provide boots on the ground rescue, loving foster homes, adoptable pets and in field services to prevent future generations of homeless animals.

Camp Companion partners with Law Enforcement, Animal Control, Rescue Partners, Mental Health Providers, Homeless Outreach and thousands of community members every year.  Our programs include lost/found reporting and reuniting, owner surrenders, in field rescue of animals in danger and trap-neuter-return.

These programs are in overdrive. Camp Companion foster homes are front and center providing cats and dogs a place to decompress, learn and love. Currently 422 cats and 56 dogs are housed.

As the need for our program services increase so does our need of funding. Your support allows us to continue the heartfelt work that we do everyday.

Camp Companion has so many stories as each animal is unique and their journey is one we celebrate.  Recently three dogs entered our program when their owner passed away.  All three senior dogs were quickly settled into a foster home to give them comfort in the loss of their family member and security that someone would make sure they are loved. These individual stories reached 1,265 last year.  That is the number of animals that were adopted in 2022.

1,265 adoptions is a great accomplishment for this volunteer based rescue but that is only the beginning of the amazing work that is funded by people just like you.  In 2022 our cat team housed neonate kittens, moms with litters of kittens, adult cats and senior cats. Hundreds of volunteer hours given to support the animals in their care.

1,989 Spay/Neuter surgeries completed. It is important to note that the the majority of these surgeries are performed during our trap-neuter-return efforts. This program is an innovative approach to preventing future generations of homeless animals.  Our mission is dependent on this program and support from our community.  2023 has been a challenge and amazing year all at the same time. Trapping teams have been in the field and our funding of this program is imperative to accomplish our mission.

This year our match grant is being provided by three amazing people.  One that received our trap-neuter-return services many years ago. One that is celebrating the life of her beloved dog. One that has devoted her spare time to Camp Companion through volunteering, fostering and mentor to others within our program.

Help us reach our goal of raising $50,000.00  Our match grant is at $15,000.00 so we have a great start and you can be part of this amazing campaign.
