Help RVWG Travel to WGI World Championships!

The 728 Cadets Marching Arts provides music and performing arts training and education to students in 7th-12th grade within the boundaries of ISD 728.  The 728 Cadets is a stand-alone, 501(c) (3) nonprofit made possible by its members, families, friends, fundraising, grants, corporate and civic sponsors. They fundraise each season to offset expenses and keep registration costs affordable for students and their families. More than 100 students per season have benefited and excelled from the programs provided by the 728 Cadets Marching Arts. The 728 Cadets includes a summer marching band & three winter ensembles: River Valley Percussion Theatre, River Valley Winter Guard, and River Valley Sound.

For the 2024-2025 winter season we need to raise $3,000 to help reimburse volunteers/parents for the cost of gas to haul our trailers to competitions, rehearsals, and to WGI Worlds Championship in Dayton, OH! River Valley Percussion Theater utilizes a large trailer to transport marimbas, virbaphones, drums, and props to rehearsals and competitions. In addition, River Valley Sound uses a trailer to transport large brass instruments, uniforms, and show props to rehearsals and performances. Lastly, River Valley Winter Guard has a trailer to transport uniforms, performance props, flags, rifles, etc. used for their competitions and practices. This requires the organization to use large trucks to tow the trailers throughout the season. Your donation before midnight on November 21st will allow us to fund the cost of transportation, so students can rehearse & attend their competitions.
