Huungry Student Fundraiser

Crossroads Campus Ministry is the ONLY radically inclusive ministry still serving students of MSU-Mankato. We are comitted to welcoming people of all religious and racial backgrounds and all gender identities, no exceptions. We see many international students, and many from as close by as Mankato, St Peter or the Twin CIties.

Food insecurity - the lack of reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food - is common at colleges and universities across the country. Mankato is no exception. The good news is that hungry students are getting wholesome food to nourish them through our Campus Cupboard food pantry. The not-so-good news is that the need remains high. Tuition, room, and board have grown ever more expensive. Many who use the Cupboard are international students who are prohibited by law from getting jobs in the community. Many others are already working a couple jobs in addition to studying full time.

Campus Cupboard provides food assistance to students attending Minnesota State University - Mankato, Bethany College, and South Central College. We are seeing increasing demand at our food shelf. But with the end of the special pandemic funding for food purchases combined with increased food costs due to current high inflation, Campus Cupboard is in great need of additional funds to help feed a rapidly growing number of hungry college students. We rely on your donations to help us continue this very impactful ministry.
