Raise the Roof at Dorothy's!

It's been 25 years since Dorothy' cabins were  moved to the red pine grove on the edge of Ely, MN and they are in need of some TLC. We are in the beginning stages of a capital campaign to raise funds for some significant, structural improvements but are hoping to start the fundraising ball rolling with Give to the Max Day!

Most critical is reroofing both the Winter and Point Cabins before spring.  Two decades of wear-and-tear have loosened shingles on both cabins allowing rain to be driven inside by storm winds.  The projects themselves are straightforward in terms of the physical work but require the skill and competence of professional contractors who are fully licensed.  Will you help us raise the funds necessary to cover the costs associated with hiring a local contractor to reshingle these historic cabins?
