Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Program

Help us raise funds to support our graduating seniors & college alumni with scholarships!

The Redwood Area Orrin S. Estebo Chapter of Dollars for Scholars was established in 2001 by a group of parents, counselors and supporters dedicated to helping Redwood Valley seniors with their college expenses. Our chapter was named in honor of Orrin Estebo, who generously donated $125,000 to fund its startup. The first scholarships were awarded in 2002, with 16 students each receiving $500. Since then we have annually distributed scholarships to support hometown students in achieving their educational goals through post-secondary education.  We are nearing the $1 million mark of lifetime scholarships given!

Our goals for our Dollars for Scholars chapter are to:
1.)  Increase our minimum scholarship amount from $500 to $1,000.

2.)  Increase the number of scholarships available to college students.
