Give to support the Emerging Farmers Conference!

Hey there farm and foodie friends! Today is Give to the Max Day in Minnesota. I'm asking if you'd consider donating any amount to this amazing organization: The Food Group. This org combats hunger in a number of ways, including connecting farmers with land and resources to grow food for their communities. They put on the incredible Emerging Farmers Conference near Minneapolis every year, which is my favorite event of the year and the most energizing. The photo is from this year. I took it in a farm finances session. You'll notice that several people are wearing earphones. That's because all of the sessions are translated, by live interpreters, into 8 languages. These are the faces of the next generation of market growers, and I'm so excited for the flavors and culture they are bringing to our communities and countryside.
