Dead Bloated Beaver from Knife Lake ❤️ BWCA 🦫

Join me to chip in to protect this special wilderness that has meant so much to so many, including me. I once swam in the crystal-clear waters of Knife Lake in the BWCA, chewing sticks, turning them into dams and lodges. Doing beaver stuff.

Now I'm just a memory. But a strong one! And I'm here to fight to protect other critters, including my descendants and friends.

I just want to rest in peace, with a little dignity. But I will haunt those who wish to harm the Boundary Waters.

My former home is now threatened, and needs your help.

A proposed copper-sulfide mine at the edge of the Boundary Waters would put North America's cleanest waters at risk. Copper-sulfide mining is the most polluting industry in the United States. It always pollutes.

Winter is hard enough up here. I don't need to be swimming in water contaminated with heavy metals and (gulp!) sulfuric acid!

Please help protect the BWCA. Do it for the beavers!
