Dance Within Everyone's Reach

As a St. Paul-based nonprofit arts organization, we have spent 23 years working to make the magic of dance accessible to everyone in our community. We now invite you to join us in sustaining this legacy by supporting our latest production, a vibrant adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, coming to life on March 4th and 5th, 2025, at The O’Shaughnessy on the campus of St. Catherine University

For over two decades, we’ve welcomed tens of thousands of children from metro-area schools—many of them attending through scholarships that make this experience possible. We prioritize students from schools with high rates of assisted lunch programs, offering them a unique chance to witness the joy and beauty of dance theater, entirely free of charge. Alongside each invitation, we provide schools with an integrated curriculum to deepen the students’ connection to the arts and enhance their educational experience. Since the pandemic, our outreach has expanded through livestream technology, allowing us to reach new audiences across Minnesota and beyond, including international viewers, residents in adult and adolescent care facilities, and youth in juvenile detention centers. In 2024 alone, we were able to bring this gift of dance to nearly 4,000 individuals through livestream, breaking down barriers and fostering a shared experience across distances.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of supporters like you. Thanks to your kindness, we have been able to offer scholarships to students in need of financial assistance, opening doors for them to train in dance and dance theater. Every donation—no matter the amount—brings us closer to our goal, allowing us to cover essential production costs, general operating expenses, and scholarships that ensure the arts remain accessible to all.
