The purpose of this fund is to fight the significant problem of companion animal overpopulation by providing for the costs of spay and neuter procedures of cats and dogs sheltered at Paws and Claws. Additionally, this fund sometimes serves to help defray the expenses of spay and neuter procedures of animals belonging to those residents of Rochester and surrounding communities who have demonstrated an inability to cover the procedure on their own.
