Tourniquets for Ukraine

There is a growing shortage of critical medical supplies in Ukraine, including tourniquets, and it's leading to preventable deaths. We know from the Ukrainians we're in regular contact with that lives are being lost simply because this basic but essential tool is unavailable.

A donation of $6.00 will cover the cost of materials to make and send one (1) medical grade tourniquet, as shown in the photo, to medical personnel in Ukraine.

Here's how your donation will help meet this urgent need:

Tourniquet materials procurement and assembly: Cedaero Bikepacking Bags and KnightVision Development staff are volunteering their time to source materials and assemble the tourniquets at their offices in Two Harbors MN.

Coordination: Donations go directly to New Horizons Foundation-USA, a MN-based 501(c)3 organization which has provided and coordinated aid for Ukraine since March 2022. All funds provided will cover the cost of materials.

Shipping: Hand in Hand Logistics, a MN-based 501(c)3 organization established to facilitate delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, will handle shipment. Hand in Hand has shipped 26 shipping containers of supplies to UA since March 2022.

Distribution: Vetted partners located in Zaporizhzhia, UA will receive and distribute the tourniquets to medical personnel in the areas of greatest need.

Our intitial goal was to send 200 tourniquets. Thus far we have assembled and will soon ship 500. Additional funds will 100% be used to assemble and deliver more; Round 3 of tourniquet assembly.
