Fiercely Hopeful in Belonging for All

Voting for the future you want to see. A wise principal I know recently penned a letter to his students reminding them that the aftermath of an election is not like a sports championship. They shouldn't be bragging about a victory; they should be caring for one another especially their classmates who are hurting or scared about what the future might bring.

I voted because I want my three children to be seen, heard, and valued for their identities, personalities, and aspirations wherever they might be. I voted because I want this for all my neighbors. I voted because I want my 4 yr old daughter to believe that she can be president one day. 

We all vote based on our values, beliefs, hopes, and experiences. And while those may differ in what they look like or in priority, we will continue to exist in this democratic experiment together. 

For 28 years, AmazeWorks has championed belonging for all—through seven presidential administrations. The future may be uncertain, but our dedication to lifting every voice remains unwavering. The work to champion belonging cannot and will not be stopped.

Hoping for this reality means investing in the strength of our communities, especially during polarizing and challenging times.
