For 20 years, MNUDL has been a cornerstone of critical thinking, civic engagement, and student empowerment across Minnesota. Our coaches have empowered thousands of students to find their voices, think critically, and engage in the world around them. 

But we’re not done. Our vision is that every Minnesota student, regardless of background, has access to the life-changing power of debate and the mentorship they need to succeed along the way. 

We’re raising money to fund stipends for the capable, caring coaches who will shape our students’ collective future. A gift made today lays the groundwork for developing coaches for years to come:

• Our teacher coaches identify and recruit potential debaters throughout their school. 
• Our community coaches, often MNUDL alums, share their debate skills with schools. 
• The high school students they coach assist neighborhood middle school debate teams.
