MATHCOUNTS Prime Launch 2025

PRIME donors make MATHCOUNTS happen! 

Join the ranks of our esteemed PRIME donors and make a significant impact on middle school math students throughout the entire state.  

Middle school math students across the state are depending on you to make a difference. 

MATHCOUNTS has a proven track record of boosting students' confidence in math, and our program is renowned for its ability to foster collaborative learning and rank among the top programs for students at all math levels. 

Research shows that confidence plays a vital role in middle school, setting the stage for students to embrace math and science in high school and beyond.  

We've been doing this since 1984. Become a prime donor today.

Our goal is simple - $5003 in prime donations will launch the 2025 season supports:

1. Chapter events for middle school students across the state in February. We reach all corners of Minnesota!
2. The two-day state competition and STEM celebration that brings together advancing students around the state, along with their coaches and engineer volunteers.

And since we love math, $5,003 is about 6% of what it costs to run MATHCOUNTS every year.

Minnesota MATHCOUNTS is the flagship STEM outreach program of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers. MnSPE members started MATHCOUNTS in Minnesota and have kept it going for more than 40 years. Much of the coordination in serving middle school math students around the state for competitions is done by MnSPE members. 

Your donation goes directly to supporting this effort - directly to serving the students at the chapter and state levels throughout the season.
