Lakes Area Writers Alliance Annual Fundraiser

The Lakes Area Writers Alliance’s mission is to foster writers' professional development, promote communication and build skills throughout the literary community, and help create an environment in which the widest possible public can appreciate literature.

This summer, we met Mary, a 2nd Grader from Brainerd, Minnesota. Mary wants to grow up to be an author.  She has a title for her book, "A Horse Named Tim." Mary informed us she has not yet written the book but is excited to have it published.  It's stories like Mary's that excite us. Our community youth, writing and sharing stories, aspiring to be our next generation of Authors.

To meet our mission and provide quality services to writers in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals like you for support.
