The Grand Marais Art Colony fosters the exploratory growth and experimental power of contemporary artists of all skill levels.

The Art Colony depends on small member donations and our artist-led community of supporters. Annual memberships start as low as $5/month and come with member perks such as early enrollment in our summer classes, an invitation to show your work in our Muse member exhibition each fall, and more.

Our goal is to welcome 25 new members into our community of artists and individuals that believe in the power of art and its vital role within our communities.

Membership at the Art Colony is about bridging art and everyday life. Celebrate working artists and invest in creative opportunities by purchasing a year-long membership at any level. Your donation will directly support unique creative programming for local youth, bring exciting and engaging exhibitions to our wilderness community, and make our studio spaces more accessible and inviting to all.

All individuals beginning an annual membership of $60/year or more will receive a stainless steel Art Colony camper mug:

The Grand Marais Art Colony is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which means your donation is tax-deductible and you can choose to contribute on an annual basis or a sustaining, monthly basis.
