Traditional Healing
- Culturally specific birth work and ceremonies that empower and heal women during their lifespan
- Ceremonial guidance and assistance for the following:
- Pregnancy and Birth work
- Traditional Naming Ceremonies
- Coming of Age Ceremonies
- Women’s Ceremonies
- Healing Ceremonies
Nokomis Endaad Mental and Behavioral Health
- Intensive outpatient treatment program and wrap around services through a home environment
- Wraparound services that incorporate the home environment
- Culturally aware and trauma informed mental health providers
- Healing Journeys: a biweekly support group for American Indian women to come together and work through a culturally-specific healing process, including, but not limited to traditional craft making and attending ceremonies
Nokomis Waa’kaaigan
Providing a safe house for women in need of assistance
Family Services
- Parenting classes and support utilizing a cultural lens that empowers and strengthens families
- Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) support and advocacy
Community Programming
- Culturally centered community events that build connection and heal such as:
- Round dances
- Pow wows
- Moccasin-making classes
- Native female authors book reading for youth
- Cradleboard making classes
- Ribbon skirt classes
- Jingle dress making classes
- And more!
Support for Survivors of Gender Based Violence
Assisting client/relatives at their own pace through their healing journey by providing 1:1 services through our Sexual Assault Advocates, Domestic Violence Advocates, and our Sex Trafficking Survivor Advocates.

- Unsheltered/Unhoused Two-Spirit Individuals
- Unsheltered/Unhoused Youth
- Sex Trafficked Individuals or Individuals in danger of being sex trafficked
Wawokiye Drop-In Center
- Immediate culturally specific support for Unsheltered relatives:
- Showers
- Food
- Clothing
- Transportation
- Internal and External Referrals
- Advocacy
- Traditional Medicines and other culturally specific support
