Give to the Max Day 2024

Headwaters Music & Arts is passionate about fostering creativity and artistic growth in our community.

We invite you to join us for Minnesota’s giving holiday and choose Headwaters Music & Arts as a recipient for your gift. With past donations, we've been able to start the rock band program, expand our art and pottery offerings, make our lighting and heating more energy efficient, and install beautiful signage in the Ojibwe language. Since last Give to the Max Day we have:

• Offered scholarships for ALL of our music & art youth programming

• Hired new instructors and kept wages competitive

• Completed needed repairs to our roof

• Created new summer camps and youth afterschool programs, while continuing to offer popular, high quality programs like Fiddle Camp and Headwaters Art Camp

• Hired a Community Engagement Coordinator

• Explored new community programs like Bluegrass Jam Session and Open Chess

In the coming year we want to do more. Contributions from Give to the Max Day 2024 will help us build up our scholarship program for youth and adults to participate in music lessons, art & pottery classes, and summer camps. 

We rely on individual donations and sustaining membership contributions to keep us going, and to help us stay on solid ground as we fulfill our mission "to provide opportunities for creativity through instruction and inspire the community through music and the arts." With your donation, we will be able to continue to make art and music experiences accessible for all those who dream about making music, creating art, and, in the best of all possible ways, reaching their full potential.
