Finstuen Family Fundraiser

Paws and Claws hosts several fundraising events each year but none are as special to us as the annual pet walk. Tom and I did our first PCHS Pet Walk in 2012 with our pair of beagles Jackson and Buddy. We got a little busy over the next couple of years having our first child and getting married, and finally did another pet walk with the beagles in 2015 while I was 8 months pregnant with our second child. Our oldest beagle Jackson passed away later that year. Buddy lived until February 2021 and passed away after we discovered a very large mass in his abdomen that had been causing him a lot of pain on and off for some time and progressed rapidly in his final months. We adopted Luna (formerly Peppa) from PCHS in the summer of 2021 and Ollie (formerly Pumpkin) in November 2024. It has been an amazing journey growing our family and we have a lot of gratitude for all that PCHS has given our family.
