Join Us for Give Big Valleys on April 29th!

We are thrilled to announce that the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is participating in Give Big Valleys on Tuesday, April 29th—a one-day online giving event that supports local nonprofits and strengthens our community. This year, our focus is on the UWRF Impact Fund, which provides flexible resources to help us respond to urgent needs on campus and continue making a lasting impact.

In 2024, Give Big Valleys united 91 nonprofits and raised over $500,000 to support our region. We are excited to be part of this incredible initiative again and have set an ambitious goal to raise [insert fundraising goal] to continue our work of enriching lives through education and community engagement.

Why the UWRF Impact Fund Matters

The UWRF Impact Fund is a flexible, unrestricted fund that allows us to:

• Respond quickly to campus needs

• Support student scholarships

• Enhance academic programs

• Invest in key community initiatives

Your donation helps ensure UWRF can continue to provide students, faculty, and staff with the resources they need to succeed and thrive.

How You Can Make a Difference

1. Give with Purpose

On April 29th, donate to UWRF through givebigvalleys.org between 12:00am and 11:59pm. Your gift will be stretched with matching funds from generous supporters, plus bonus funds raised by Give Big Valleys. Every dollar counts and every gift makes a bigger impact!

2. Can’t Donate on April 29th?

No worries! You can still help. Mail a check to UWRF Foundation Office - 310 South Hall, 410 S 3rd St, River Falls, WI 54022or drop it off in person at the UWRF Foundation Office.

3. Spread the Word

Help us spread the word! Share UWRF’s campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues. Tag us on social media at @UWRFAlumni  and use the hashtag #GiveBigValleys to show your support. Together, we can inspire more people to give!
