General Operating Support

Historically the Minnesota STEM Partnership (MSP) operates on funding from sponsors and donations that are allocated to equipment, parts and maintenance that goes directly to restricted funds.  

Our success surrounds the minimal part-time staff and significant number of volunteers that are the glue that makes the magic happen at MSP.  We have significant difficulty expressing the need for unrestricted funds that pay for all of the follow-up calls to students and parents, outreach to community centers, local high schools as well as PPE supplies, snacks of appreciation for volunteers, office supplies and those toner cartridges to print the take-home reminders for students.  These expenses are often drive our challenges in services.

In essence, we provide the layer of coordination an adult with the advanced business and technology skills to stand up and organize a family robotics team or math club because they understand the value and benefit to early STEM engagement.

We are those adults, the aunts and uncles, neighbors and corporate philanthropists that make things happen.

We ask for serious consideration of providing funding for General Operations - a needed area of support.
