Eastside Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a public-private partnership, so the federal government provides approximately 40% of the seed funding. 

In 2025, due to cuts in the Older American's Act nutrition program funding, we will receive 10% less.

Your donation helps Eastside Meals on Wheels provide nutritious meals in Northeast Minneapolis, Southeast Minneapolis, and St. Anthony Village. 

We serve adults sixty years of age or older who cannot prepare or shop for their own adequate meals. We never deny meals for those who qualify, regardless of their ability to contribute towards the cost.

One in three Meals on Wheels programs has a waitlist. Eastside Meals on Wheels has never relied on a waitlist. When funding lags, your support helps us to continue starting service for seniors in immediate need.
