Forkhorn Outdoor Education Scholarships

Join us in sending kids to Forkhorn Camps this summer!

Each year, nearly 500 youth aged 11-17 participate in Forkhorn Camp through a partnership between the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association and Environmental Learning Centers across Minnesota. From day camps to overnight stays, campers have the opportunity to earn their Firearms Safety Certificate, learn outdoor skills like bowhunting, orienteering, map making, ecology, conservation and survival techniques, as well as ethical hunting practices and tree stand safety.

Scholarships make it possible for children from diverse backgrounds to experience these camps, regardless of financial barriers. Your donations can help fulfill the dreams of many young campers.

Unfortunately, some children are unable to attend due to financial constraints. With your support, we aim to secure funding for ten scholarships totaling $6,000. Will you help sponsor a child's attendance at Forkhorn Camp? Each scholarship costs $500-$600, and we are dedicated to assisting families who may struggle with covering these costs for the 2025 camp season.
